Marketing Automation & Transactional Communications
A marketing automation & transactional program should be the backbone of any email marketing program. Through creating personalized, timely & relevant messages I am able to ensure a positive customer experience and continued engagement. Incorporating lifecycle campaigns as customers work through the brand experience from the welcome series, through to the post purchase and transactional campaigns, I have been able to maintain list engagement.
Leveraging AI/ML, I was able to ensure the customer received the campaigns in any stage that was most likely to fulfill their needs. Through this I served messages containing content and product recommendations at the cadence and frequency that they were most likely to engage with while preserving list health due to reduced attrition.
In support of the transactional side of our program, I worked extensively with the IT department as a liaison between our channel and the developers. Due to the technical background I held prior to Ashley, I was able to understand the technical requirements of the email teams’ needs as well as explain in more layman terms to help educate my team members as well as work with my team to set realistic expectations.
Incorporating email into an overarching automated, digital marketing program is my next goal to accomplish with the next step in my career. In preparation for this I have strategized solutions for tying the pieces together, however due to internal or technical limitations, I have not yet been able to complete this step for Ashley. I would like to bring my experience and strategic mindset to my next venture.
